Halloween: Spooktacular!

Whoohoo happy Halloween weekend everyone!

Before I went down to USS, I went to work hahaha

See he looks super like Spiderman!!! I alr told him I'll call him that from now on hehehe:) He talks like him too!

This is only half the food! And apparently they threw out half of it alr!!!! Omg wish I had enough stomachs to eat everythingggg

B bought me bubbletea and I was being gross

Im super fucking scared of dolls and clowns I swear

And this place is a breeding ground for all of them :< But I was so brave hahaha I didn't scream at all >D (only at new york though, I didn't know one guy was a zombie when he shuffled up to me and went AH! and I complied and went ARGH!!!!!)

The queue for the first haunted house was damn crazy!!!! Have you been to the water show before? The queues snaked throughout the entire top of the seating area! It was super intense, queued for about an hour :O That's when we decided Ben is going zoukout and he will, by hook or by crook, convince Eve that he's staying at home LOL
Good luck to him man :>

ANYWAY. After the longest queue ever (which was evidently not to be, more later), we finally went in. I was honestly quite scared because I get shocked very easily even when I know there's probably someone in the corner
I can't really explain it but you still feel the sudden surge of terror even if you know it's just a dress up!!!

I swear I got fucking scared at the cold room place because the doors kept swinging open and shut wtf I screamed like crayyyy
Ben kept hugging B initially ("I damn tired ah, I wanna close my eyes sleep now") which eventually moved on to waist grabbing, and we as a group decided to push B to the front hahaha balls so hard man~
So then Ben resorted to grabbing my waist while he held on to Eve with another hand -.- He gave up after a while because he said my waist was too small HAHAH full of bullshit

Back out, when we were reliving the moments, someone came up behind us and said, "Wo yao bang bang tang" (I want a lollipop) and Ben YELLED damn loudly and jumped/ran off hahahaha it was super hilarious!!!!!
"I thought it was you (Amanda) talking to me wtf! I turned around and it turned out to be her, actually she looks a bit like you also" WHICH WAS MEAN BECAUSE SHE WAS A GHOST

Gosh, she was walking alone, I bet the sian look on her face wasn't fake hahaha

After the Egyptian ride. I swear, I have never ever queued so long for a ride (1+h!!!!!) because both times I went I had express tix. Gosh! Super hate waiting!!! Definitely wouldn't queue again for the ride ugh. But it was so crowded at 1am, I really felt like I was in Cairo!

This was damn scary!!!!! I really lost my voice here:( We walked in a chain, B pushed to the front as usual LOL with me following close behind. I was clutching on to both boys for dear life :( Ben was super scared I think he screamed as much as me hahahah omg how to protect Eve like that?! Even if he hasn't lost his balls in the first haunted house, he would surely have lost it in here

Was watching Amy in the Haunted House (one of Ellen's episodes) and I was thinking to myself, they're all just dress up!! But I GET IT NOW. It's wayyyy scarier I swear wtf. And when the ghosts came out and started walking close, I was just yelling at them "GO AWAY DON'T TOUCH ME" because I had a feeling they'd be rubbery to touch :(

The last queue of the day was for cabs. Damn insane queue as well. But I'm so glad we went together! It was so much more fun yay~~~ Can't wait to see them soon:)

ITB Asia

Hey guys sorry I haven't been blogging for the longest time ever! Past three days, I was at ITB Asia, one of Asia's largest B to B conferences and ITB is traditionally held in Berlin, but the Asia's edition has been in Singapore for the past five years

The opening speech left me with the deepest impression. It was by Horst Schulze, CEO and Chairman of Capella Singapore. He is super remarkable, humorous, yet surprisingly grounded. This was in contrast to another speech by a local organization who was truly smoking all the way-.- like it doesn't value add at all. Henceforth I dozed off most of the events because it was so terribly unexciting

Also met the organizers, two of which are really strong women, such an inspiration
Truly knowing what they want and leading the way to attain their goals

Nonetheless I walked away richer, still highly fascinated by the hospitality industry, inspired, slightly fatter from all the pastries everyday

Thanks Josh for introducing me to this!! So glad and thankful for him really, without him I wouldn't have been able to see the industry players nor indulge in knowledge sharing with future leaders (of which he was in the panel for the event)

Saw so many polytechnic students who really have a lot of drive for this industry, it's amazing how competitive it is:O

Really looking forward to attending ITB Asia, I'm sure the exposure would be pretty useful to hospitality

I may be slightly incoherent now because I'm literally watching Family Guy while blogging :)

And just a random thought, I'm quite thankful for my friends at Abercrombie for making work more tolerable~ And special thanks to Jarrel for changing my shifts even though I didn't update the blasted website (which was so hard to figure out)

Omfg I was super overwhelmed by D's cocker spaniels
He has THREE of them loving babies clamoring for his affection!!! I'm so jealous!!!!

They're gorgeous solid golden spaniels
And he has one called Molly hahah ah
Wanted to get a tabby called Molly before
Hm

I love Molly super a lot she's so affectionate:') It's like when I ask her, Hey Molly do you love me? And she will lick my face all over after I ask that *dies*

And apparently D likes her more as well because he said the others just want the biscuit lol
Which makes sense
Until I came up with a theory that she just wants MORE biscuit lolol

Nonetheless we brought her out for a spin:3 It was q sad to hear the other spaniels crying and howling inside heh oops but I can't carry so many at once!!! I'm super scared they'd jump out of the car!

(Yes I was wearing a lion hat from the zoo)

Can't wait to see them again <3

Intense eating continues :(

Work yesterday was damn intense

I worked for nearly 11 non stop because boss needed help

I also realized I'm quite good at mopping floors

Lol

Dinner last night was a pretty grand affair

First time walking like a boss into a restaurant which had a sign that said "private event"

Meeting the major shareholders of the restaurant

Was like The Godfathers of the restaurant scene :O

Food tasting went on until 11

Had the most amazing dishes

Lobster, prawns in a jar, pasta, raw mackerel on bread, cod's tongue, caramelised bacon with extra skinny potato strips, medium-rare top grade beef with roasted potatoes

Mojitos and flutes of vintage champagne

At least 3 plates of desserts

And this is how I will die happy

K Suites is actually really nice but it's too damn cold

Nonetheless it was mucho fun <3 p="p">
