I don't think I've stressed over what to wear for a long time! Bf said "Wear something nicer tomorrow" so I decided to go along with a LBD, because not much can go wrong with that.

Mysterious because I wasn't allowed to know where we were going

And he kept going on and on like a creepy pedophile! Scary! Hahah. Alighted at Raffles Place! Still wasn't sure where we were going. Ended up at..

Walked over to the Lantern which looks like a very nice bar



Lots of lanterns (no prizes for guessing why)
The receptionist asked, "Are you two celebrating your anniversary or something?" and bf said "Uh.. 8 months" WHICH ADMITTEDLY SOUNDS TART but still what matters is that I have a bf who enjoys celebrating these little milestones as much as I do
The weeks no longer matter as much anymore, I've lost count

Deciding what to get

The daybed had a view of the river, which was stunning







The waiter presented us with a bowl of deliciously salty peanuts
Which are but tools to make people buy their $30 a glass cocktail
And I singlehandedly devoured them all!! Typical consumer in more ways than one

He had a glass of rose wine while I went for a cocktail called Red Lantern
Made up of tequila, cucumbers and some shizzle which makes it red and fruity
It's deliciously light! Very nice

FRUITS

Spent a very fruitful day today!

Bf went to watch me get thrashed by this super pro girl at muaythai omfg. Like she would kick and even though I was holding pads, the impact will be so large that my arms (positioned at 45deg above from horizontal) will bounce up and hit my lip wtf. And I have completely no strength to throw her to the floor, she has to deliberately fall for me to practice the technique-.-
Felt like a weakling
And in real life I'll probably run anyway

Then lunched (which consisted of 2+ bowls of cold tou hua and wanton noodles) and headed home before going to visit

Mom: Why do you always close the windows when you sleep?

Sis: Cos I can't sleep without the fan.

But I realized I'm in no position to say anything. Because I absolutely need to have my blankets over me.
On a cold day, I'll snuggle into my blanket, without my fan/non existent air con
On a hot day, I will turn on the fan and die of heat as I snuggle into my blanket

I just feel more protected with the blanket, like it's hugging me and protecting me from monsters under my bed
Monsters under the blanket are notwithstanding
